It's Friday And The Weekend Is Off To A Good Start!

I was on my way to work this morning and I heard on the radio that it has been confirmed that there is going to be a Sex & The City sequel! I loved the first movie that came out last year and was hoping that there was going to be a sequel. I didn't follow the show when it came out because it was on HBO and I didn't have HBO growing up. I always watch the re-runs when they are on. The sequel comes out in 2010 and I am very excited!!

Also on our drive in this morning, Stephanie and I were listening Kidd Kraddick on Kiss FM and in honor of the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" coming out today they had people calling into the radio show to find out if the guy/girl they were dating were into them. This one girl calls in about the guy she has been dating for the past several months. Things were going good and this guy had even told her he loved her. She had to go out of town and when she got back the guy was very distant and had seemed to have lost interest in her.

Kidd Kraddick decided to call the guy up and pretend he was doing a game on the radio show. He asked the guy several random questions with the last question being: "If you were leaving tomorrow to go on an exotic trip what is the name of the girl you would take along?" Of course he didn't say he would take the girl that had called into the show. So basically this girl got dissed on the radio this morning in front of everyone. If the guy had said her they would have won a trip to the Bahamas. I guess you had to be listening but it was funny. Stephanie and I were laughing.

I am really excited to see this movie. I didn't read the book but the movie looks really good. I saw online that it has good reviews. I am hoping that I can convince Dustin to go see it with me on Saturday night. I have been working on him all week. I am hoping he will give in and agree to go see the movie. We might go see the movie with Jennifer and her boyfriend Clay but I have to convince Dustin first. Men...they can be so difficult!!!

I also have Crop for the Cure tomorrow which I am excited about. So far the weekend is off to a good start. Does anyone have any exciting plans for this weekend?!?!

P.S. I thought the Grey's Anatomy / Private Practice crossover event was very disappointing last night. There was no crossover event. They got us all hyped up for nothing. Now we have to wait until next week to find out what happens. TV....it frustrates me sometimes.

25 Random Things About Me

This has been going around Facebook for the past few weeks so I thought I would post it on here. Kind of fun so here it goes:

1. I am afraid of heights....deathly afraid....I get all shaky and queasy when I don't have two feet
on the ground.
2. I have never been to Florida.
3. I dislike almost everything that is sour.
4. I have never been in the hospital and I have only been to the ER once.
5. I could eat Mexican food everyday.
6. I have never been snow or water skiing.

8. I have driven an 18 wheeler once. My dad let me drive the new automatic truck but it didn't
have the trailer attached....thank goodness because that could have been a disaster.

12.I like to vacuum.....crazy I know but it is the only part of cleaning I don't mind.

Boxer Meets Baby

TV Addiction

So last night Dustin and I sat down after dinner and he looked at me and said...."what comes on TV tonight?" I said "nothing that I know of". He said "your kidding....your the TV addict I figured there would be something on TV you wanted to watch".

That got me thinking that I really am a TV addict. I mean seriously tonight there are 4 shows that I absolutely must watch. I almost have a TV show for every night of the week. Each week I fill up the DVR with tons of shows.....what did I ever do before DVR was invented?? I can't believe I spend so much time watching TV. I think I need to find a hobby....oh wait I already did and it involves the computer. It is a little thing called blogging. Yes, I am addicted to this to. I will also spend hours reading other people's blogs. A little secret...I even do it at work. Help....there must be something wrong with me! Does anyone else have this addiction???

Very Disturbing....

I have seen this on a few people's blogs and I thought I would try it. I do have to say it is quite disturbing. It is a website called Make Me Babies. You upload pictures of you and your partner and it shows you what your children will look like. I will pray that our child does not turn out like this or we won't be reproducing. It is just scary.

On a side note: Today is Dustin and I's 6 month anniversary!! Woo hoo!....we made it 6 months without killing each other. Just Kidding! Actually it has been a lot of fun and I can't believe how fast time flys. I can't wait for our 1 year anniversary!

Super Bowl!

It is that time of year again....time for the Super Bowl. I personally don't care who wins but I am pulling for the Cardinals. I like Kurt Warner and I would like to see him win another Super Bowl. Since I don't really care about any other NFL team other than the Cowboys, I am watching the Super Bowl for the commercials. There is always at least one or two really good ones. Dinner at the Firehouse

Tonight all the significant others were invited to dinner at the Firehouse. Dustin's Lieutenant Eddie asked his wife to come up to the station and make chicken spaghetti for everyone. It was a lot of fun. Everyone helped in the kitchen and then we all sat down and ate like a big family. The chicken spaghetti was yummy. Eddie's wife Angela brought their 6 month old son and he was adorable. He kept everyone entertained. I didn't get any pictures of him though. Actually I had forgotten all about taking pictures until after dinner. We got lucky because the guys didn't get a single call while we there!

It was a fun night and fun to hang out with Dustin at work. I hope we all do it again soon.
