Our Little Devils....

I thought I would post some pictures of our babies....aka Jax and Maribel. Most days they bring such joy to our lives. They are so cute and always love us no matter what. I am going some where with this I promise..

Today was an exception and I wanted to kill them both. Dustin was on shift today and I had to work as well so the dogs were home alone for about 10 hours. They are usually pretty good and leave stuff alone. We have a dog door so they are able to go in and out as they please. Today they were not so good....this is what they decided to today....

They decided to chew up our window sill in the front bedroom. This is the only room I leave open for them during the day because they like to look out the front window and watch the workers outside....our subdivision is still under construction. We just got finished fixing the blinds that they decided to chew up last week. I thought I had solved the problem and I started pulling the blinds all the way up so they could not reach them.

I guess they showed me because they decided to move on to the window sill. Our brand new house is being destroyed. I am so mad but there is no use getting on to them because they look at me like "what did I do?" I think they are going to start enjoying the nice outdoors all day long!

FUNDAY TUESDAY!...I stole this from Kendall's blog which was actually called Funday Monday but it's not Monday anymore....

What were you doing 10 years ago?

I was a freshman at Ryan High School in Denton. While I did have fun in high school you couldn't give me enough money to repeat it. It is definitely something I would not do again. I was a member of the Industrial Technology Club...sounds nerdy I know...but it was a lot of fun and our teacher was so awesome. I used to want to be an architect and we learned design and drawing. I was also member of student counsel. I was quiet and shy and didn't get involved in too much freshman year.

List 5 things on your "to do list" today?

1. Finish this pile of work on my desk
2. Work on my real estate class when I get home
3. Walk the dogs
4. Watch 90210 and Law & Order SVU
5. Clean up around the house

Favorite Snacks:

My weakness is anything sweet...my favorite is ice cream. I also like to snack on cereal, chips and cheese and crackers.

What would you do with an unlimited supply of money?

First I would buy some land and build the perfect house. Then I would pay off all of our debt (not that it is a whole lot) and then buy a new car. I might even buy 2 new cars! I would travel to Hawaii, Europe & Australia and probably go on a shopping spree. Since it is unlimited supply there is no need to save any but I would probably donate a lot to various charities like the Humane Society and Susan G. Koman.

Where have you lived?

I have lived in Denton almost all of my life. I did live in Lubbock for 2 years and in Mansfield for 1 year.

Where have you worked?

All through high school and most of my college years I worked at a local property management firm doing leasing, accounts payable , reports...pretty much everything. I did also work for a local architect for about a year. Now I work for LandAmerica American Title in Dallas as a Commercial Escrow Officer.

Our First Blog

I am new to this so bear with with me. My good friend Kelsie and her husband Drew came over for dinner tonight and she showed me this new website. As if I needed another website in addition to Myspace and Facebook. This looks cool so I thought I would give it a try!

A little about me, I was born and raised in Denton and I graduated from The University of North Texas. I recently got married to Dustin. He is from Mansfield and we dated 4 years before getting married. We were married on August 2, 2008 and we just built a new home in Lake Dallas. Married life is great! We have two Boxers who we absolutely adore! Jax is 2 1/2 years and we got him when he was 8 weeks old. Maribel is the new addition to our family. We rescued her from The Legacy Boxer Rescue. She is about 1 1/2 and full of energy. They love to play! They keep us busy.

I work for LandAmerica American Title in Dallas and Dustin is a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Colleyville. Life is busy between work and making our new home ours!
